[Product Review] Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion Pore Perfecting

Description from URBANDECAY.COM: Smooth on a little Pore Perfecting Complexion Primer Potion before foundation (or alone!) to totally minimize the look of pores and fine lines. The velvety, paraben-free formula flashes down to a soft-matte finish, without the greasy, heavy feel sometimes associated with foundation primers. The result? Flawless skin with an airbrushed look and feel. Foundation applies smoothly, evenly, and won’t fade away. Ideal for oilier skin, but dry complexions who want pore perfection will love it, too. The convenient squeeze tube includes a twist-up dispenser (like school glue!) for easy portion control. Two unique finishes of Complexion Primer Potions are available. For skin that feels brighter and tighter, try our Brightening formula.
Tips: A little goes a long way! A pea-sized drop of Complexion Primer Potion is all you need to perfect your whole face. Or, try just a touch in the areas where you need it most.

My Opinion/Review: I love this stuff! I usually wear this alone, because it does hide some imperfections, it’s like a sheer foundation.

The formula is heavy and slightly greasy when 1st applied on, but give it a chance to set a bit, then it should feel like nothing is on your skin. When you use it as a primer it definitely works well. The primer keeps the foundation from fading, gives you smooth surface to work on, doesn’t break me out, and blurs the appearance of large pores (doesn’t erase them though).
When I get back home and remove my makeup the primer makes my skin so smooth and soft to the touch, I love it! The packaging is really cute too! Urban Decay always personalizes the look of there packaging. As you can tell the shape of the bottle/tube is kinda shaped like the primer potion without the curves.

Overall score: ★★★★☆

  4. @ Mimi --- Yes it does a great job at blending out, but if you tend to have dry patches on the skin, it tends to be a bit harder to blend it out. I just found this out.

@ Charming Vanity --- It is, and your welcome 8)
